  • 54 Subclass Cards—Step into shadows as a Nightwalker Rogue, or find a friend in every high (and low) place with the Syndicate Rogue! Harness a legendary gods-given weapon as a Divine Wielder Seraph, or take to the skies as a Winged Sentinel Seraph.

  • 189 Domain Cards—Each class combines two domains, evocative suites of abilities you’ll increase access to as your character grows in power. You guys are amazing

It feels very D&D inspired but a lot more freedom is given to everyone. The whole time while reading it, my mind was racing with different scenario ideas and adaptations. I like the fact that both the players and the DM are writing a story together, because it really takes away this thing of "I spent 10h preparing the perfect session and you guys just wanted to do something completely different." It's very roll based, you have fear to spend if you want to create encounters, I love the new classes especially the Rogue Syndicate !! Such a bad*** idea !!!

Got access to so many different tools, and I'm looking into making my own cards for a scenario I had in mind and creating my own domains and ancestry types. Make it feel even more homebrew and allow my players to create stuff as well and make them feel like they're part of the world building as well.

I'm just very thankful for all your hard work everyone, and you've made it very inclusive, and the illustrations are beautiful... I could go on and on. But from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

A much needed update to an unwelcoming format.

Daggerheart delivers everything my game group has been looking for. The system is super user friendly with plenty of customizable options. Its plenty crunchy for the people that like that but it also simplifies a lot of the rules similar TTRPG's get bogged down with. The mechanics increase role playing possibilities to the point that my players that find the role playing the most tedious part have been accidentally falling into character. A must own for gamers everywhere.

Superb quality for a more than fair price

I honestly can't think of a better deal in the TTRPG world than this. Superb quality book, wonderful illustrations, clear and precise text, PLUS a whole set of cards (great quality as well!) in a custom box for this price??? I'm amazed they could pull this of.

And the game is great fun! Recommend to everyone

What a joy !

It’s an absolute joy to have the Daggerheart core set, and prepare for a great adventure. Love the system with extra depth for character building, the extra narrative possibilities that the Hope/Fear results offer every time, and you can see a lot of thought and effort has gone into both artwork as well as all mechanics and resources for story-building ànd playing.
And having seen the CR-crew play their own ‘session zero’ and short adventures as The Menagerie, it also feels a bit like you have been part of the journey and creation of it, so it already had a special place, not just on the book/game-shelf, but also in the heart =)

A good start

Daggerheart is a promising and engaging tabletop RPG that manages to strike a nice balance between narrative freedom and mechanical crunch. There’s a fair amount of rules depth here — enough to make character choices meaningful and give combat and challenges real weight, without bogging the game down in endless modifiers or number crunching.

The system feels modern and accessible, with mechanics that encourage collaboration and storytelling. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making it both fun and flexible, especially for groups that enjoy tactical decision-making alongside roleplay.

However, what I really need now are pre-written campaigns and premade characters. The system itself is ready for play, but as someone who’s short on time, I’d love some ready-to-go adventures to make it easier to drop into a session. A few solid modules or one-shots would really help the game find a place at my table more often.

Overall, Daggerheart earns a strong 4 out of 5 stars — a rich and well-designed game that’s full of potential, especially once more official content is released
