Caduceus Clay Kitchen Line: Oven Mitt & Potholder Set

Both item in this set are excellent they are very well made.
They both do a great job of dealing with very hot cast iron pots that our previous gloves barely gave us time to handle! These ones let us hold the pot while serving and we couldn't be happier.

My wife very much enjoys the designs on them so much so she didn't immediately realise I was letting my geek glad fly!

Can't say for how they truly work due to them being a gift but they look and feel amazing. Can't wait to give them to my boyfriend for Christmas.

I used this for a friendsgiving last weekend, and they became a cooking hazard throughout it. I was baking through an arrangement of temperatures, from 350F (lasagna) to 500F (focaccia). The mitt turned not just impractical, but dangerous for use. I typically wear L-sized gloves, but the glove felt really tight regardless, which is odd considering they only offer one size. The silicone had zero grip whatsoever, and I couldn't grab on to even a cast iron pan with it without it slipping. I had to throw them out and run into my old, worn down oven mitt, which turned far more reliable.

The mitt is pretty, but I don't think moving forward I would ever use it again since they were close to ruining most of my dishes.

This is a nice set, fits my hands well and I wear a medium/small in most glove sizes.

They are just a little tight for my hands. But they do match my kitchen so very very well along withe the apron. 👍
