I could have sworn I left a review for this blanket when I bought it, but I couldn't find it in the reviews. Originally, I was unhappy with the blanket. It's really more of a tapestry that you would hang on the wall. For those of us who LOVED the map blanket with all its soft coziness, this was a stark contrast. As an older person, I found the fabric to be scratchy. I've never owned a woven tapestry-like item before so it felt like a burlap sack against my skin. I put it back in its bag for safekeeping and put it up with my other linens. Fast forward to now (November 2023), it's 51°, I'm freezing to death and my sister took all my full-sized bed linens when she and my brother came in to unclutter my apartment. I wound up buying a full-sized bed again and had nothing to put over my one comforter that was made for Florida weather. I pulled this Critical Role Calamity blanket down, folded it over in half, and put it on top of my comforter and oh my gosh was it EVER warm!!! After freezing to death, using this thing over my comfy comforter made me so warm and comfy (I folded the extra from my comforter over the top of the tapestry so it wouldn't scratch my face) I slept better than I've slept in a quite a while. I actually stayed in bed all day (it's supposed to warm up tomorrow). If you're wondering if this is worth the purchase, it DEFINITELY is, even if you live in Florida as a topper to whatever bed linens you normally use. It keeps the warm inside very well.
