Hear ye, hear ye: Your Grace is primed for her voyage, and has chosen you to accompany her! For the Queen is a card-driven collaborative storytelling game that invites you to tell a dramatic narrative about a Queen’s journey with you, her companions. What will you learn about her (and yourself) along the way? And in the end, will you stand for or against her?

Get started by choosing your Queen from among 25 lavishly illustrated Queen cards—or create your own! Launch into gameplay in minutes with the guided Rules cards, then read and answer the Question cards to develop a world, your characters, and their relationships with each other and the Queen. Ultimately, answer the final question: when your Queen is attacked, do you defend her?

This is the second edition of the beloved indie storytelling game created by Alex Roberts, a Diana Jones Award-winning designer, with a completely new visual design, more elegant packaging, and added cards and all-new Queen illustrations from a diverse team of talented artists.

What’s Inside:

The 91 cards come in a travel-ready box with a ribbon perfectly placed for easy card removal, making this game ideal for on-the-go gameplay at a convention, around a campfire, or waiting in line at the DMV! With 25 uniquely illustrated Queens to inspire you, and taking place in any genre or setting you choose, you’ll never tell the same tale twice.

Sleeper hit

Art and the box design are awesome. Game itself is a gateway drug into ttrpgs. Just story telling, no stats, no skills, no rules to remember. Pick a card, anwser the question. The more questions people anwser the better the game gets! And it is so small, you can take it anywhere!

We have played it with friends and they loved it too. I love how easy the set up is and how open the questions are, which makes the direction of the game change for one time to the next. It’s also very fun to see people instantly get better in role playing after just one game. It’s a game I’m sure I will be playing a lot.

Great Storytelling Game

This game is so much fun. It can be a little awkward at first, but as people pull questions and build their characters, it gets more and more fun.

Quick story telling

We have enjoyed the simple rules set and the fun of cooperative storytelling that comes very quickly. Players must have a passion for storytelling and theater of the mind. I love that I get to play and doesn't leave anyone stuck holding the DM bag. For added fun and confusion, in occasionl games, we add random rolls that force players to change characters and keep the story flowing as their new identity based on what the previous player had already built.
