Faboulus, and fantastic

I like good engeneering and simple, but complex structures. This fulfills my needs in a way I did not know was possible. The flow of a game is amazing and the possibility, that everyone at the table fills in bits and pieces of the story, takes this system on a different level.

Brilliant system, incredible value.

I’ve been a longtime fan of critical role, but I was skeptical at first of in the system that was not DND. Without reservation, Daggerheart is brilliant. Check it out. You can play anything with the system. It’s familiar, yet fresh. Excellent illustrations and incredibly thorough game design. Bravo, Critical Role!

Absolutely amazing

I have to start this off by praising the art of this book. Not only amazing illustrations but there is great rough sketches of ancestry and how they could look and I get blown away every time I see it.

Having two little “bookmark” strings is genius and I definitely appreciate it greatly.the book is split very reasonably with colored chapters. I cannot wait to give this system a go and homebrew aspects of it

Amazing Content

I purchased this and it arrived within a week which baffled me because usually things take longer to get to where i’m from. But the content in this book is amazing. It’s been about a week since I got it and I’ve been reading it every chance I get. The art is stunning and the sketches they do really spark my brain for ideas for stuff like character creation and world building. I will be starting a Daggerheart campaign very soon (session zero is two days away) and I’m very eager to get going. The cards are extremely high quality as well. Everything about this game is very well thought out. I will 100% recommend this to anybody who loves TTRPGs. It is very narrative driven and is not too complex so it’s very easy to learn. And I promise you, while yes it is narrative-focused and wants a good story, there are still plenty of ways that you can optimize and build an interesting character. Please give Daggerheart a shot I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Cards are beefy, art is great, the book is solid, and the game feels easy to grasp yet very interesting and flexible. Our whole party is stoked and we’re converting our existing campaign over to give it a try.
