I absolutely love it - i just wish I could remember where I put it - it's got my Daggerheart pin on it too. Hoping I left it at home by mistake?

My players were a little dubious, being, as we are, creatures of habit. 15 years of D&D make new stuff a little worrisome for a few of them. By end of session 1 they were sold, narrative control, improvisation and a strong world we created based on Motherboard meant they have done nothing but make plans to out think my AI creatures in next sessions conflict.

I think this may be our new rpg for a good while 😀

They are a little pricy, but i managed to get them at a sale price, and im so glad i bought them. They are super comfy and soft and really good quality.

The cardigan is excellent, fits very well even getting it a few sizes larger and is soft and keeping me warm or cool during the current weather. The hood is a little larger than I expected but not an issue.

Over all just an excellent cardigan.

The Daggerheart core set is the most story driven ttrpg i've ever played, it is so creative from the character creation to the combat. It has completely pulled me in. Not to even metion the Hope and Fear mechanics with the Duality dice which make every session different and doesnt feel like you have to recycle combat encounters or non combat scenarios. I can't wait to see what other classes and campaign settings they will come up with next. I will be there! 100% would recommend to anyone, even if you are new to ttrpgs or already a veteran. You gotta try this!

I've been a gamer for over 40 years, so a question that often comes up in quiet moments of reflection is 'Do I really need more dice?'

And the answer is always 'Depends...are they pretty?'

Daggerheart's official dice set is indeed very pretty. I already have at least two D12s of different colours, but I didn't have -those- two D12s of different colours. And I love the marbling effect of the other polyhedrals, so yes, I bought them on a possibly unhealthy impulse.

"But Colin!" comes the cry, possibly from deep within my subconscious, "You have the limited edition Daggerheart boxset, which comes complete with a set of arguably the most beautiful dice you own! Why would you need another set of dice that do the exact same thing?"

And to that voice I say "Shut up, you don't know."

So when you're standing in your FLGS, gazing with awestruck wonder at the pretty shinies in the box with the Daggerheart logo, you too may hear a soft voice from deep within, warning you, nay, entreating you not to succumb to the lure of yet another system-bespoke dice set, tell that voice they're not the boss of you, and you'll buy all the dice you want to, damn it...especially if they're this beautiful.

By the way, the Duality Dice always roll doubles.*
